Hookah Music Vibes

Avi discovered music by listening to his grandfather singing in the synagogue in Morocco. As a child he impressed from the voices he heard and the amazing melodies. Later in Israel he started listening to pop music and rock music and playing with a recorder and then mandolin. As a teenager he played Saxophone and discovered the sound of the electric guitar that became his major instrument and more than that helped him to jump to world of electronic sound.
After a long period of learning music in different schools with different teachers he started his studies of composition Professor Arie Shapira who changed the way he treated music.

In 1984 he recorded my first electronic peace of music that was a research in new ways to create music, and the next years he was creating music that was based on electronic systems and sounds, trying to define a new way to compose music and to renew the language of music.
During the years he was involved in many music productions, wrote music to theatre, dance show and was part of many pop and Jazz albums as arranger or producer.
In the last 2 years Avi is teaching music and managing projects at Muzik School.
All his free time is dedicated to creation and discovering new ways and fashions to make music.
